Pale golden with a small head. Not much aroma or flavour but carbonated well for the palate.

stravale (1883) - Near Carrick-on-Shannon, IRELAND - JAN 21, 2013
Bottle from Aldi Gorgie
Light yellow golden, clear, bubbly white head, some lacing
Aroma - light lager hops, light spicy hops, touch of cereals
Taste - Soft pale sweet malts, light spicy hop, soft cereals, some plae sweet caramel
Palate - Medium body, medium carb, oily slick texture. Smooth oily fairly sweet finish.
Overall - Not a fan of lagers but I would drink this, reasonable with a surprising viscous texture

Bottle. Pale hazy gold with a bubbly foam. Aromas are caramel and lemon with grain and spices. Coriander with floral notes. Flavours are cereal with lemon and spiced apple juice. A prerty standard lager with exta spiciness. OK.

Bottle. A winter... lager? Incredibly clear straw beer with a white top. Nose is mostly malty - very maizey and cornsyrupy. There’s a decent taste to it though - a little pear and apple, some hoppy grasses, touch of honey. A little salty on the palate, but pleasant enough.

ReV2 (129) - Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2012
What lager has to do with winter I don’t know but it’s a winter beer apparently. Straw-coloured with almost no head, quite a bite on the after taste, honey, hops, zest, apple, pear. Gassy - great if you like to belch a lot to impress your mates. Not that your mates will be around if you’re drinking Aldi lager. Hey, wait! I’m not judging you OK?

A shabby lager. No distinctive characteristics - unless you count ’dull as fuck’ as a characteristic.

500ml bottle. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is slightly eggy, grassy hops. Taste has minerals and straw to start. Grassy hop finish, a touch metallic with a little egg on the aftertaste.

50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Aldi. Very light gold, thin head, active carbonation Citrus and clove aroma, some malty bread. Sweet, bright flavour, with a long semi-sweet caramel finish. Not what I was expecting but alright.
