330 ml brown bottle. Best before 4/11/2012. It is a fine looking brew. It pours a hazy light gold with a fizzy white head. The only knock is that there isn’t much lacing. This is a decently old bottle for the style but it smells fresh still, must have been kept okay in the past. It is light but malty with a hint of light fruit and a bit of herbal hop. The flavor is real nice. Really bright beer here. Some yeast prescence, more so then if you got it fresh on tap near the brewery, but it isn’t detracting much from the beer. It has a nice herbal bitter note in the finish and is mostly flavorful but subtle pale malts with a subtle fruitiness. Drink these before they go old, that is all.

Sort of a sweet tart aroma. Hazy pale yellow. Maltly smooth taste. Hint of bitterness with a clean dry finish. High carbonation. Refreshing and very drinkable. I like this one a lot.

Vigorously carbonated. Hazy, light orange body with an airy, creamy cover, At once, refreshing, zesty, and piquant nose touched by a whisper of banana scent. Light to medium-bodied. Zesty, airy with a mild graininess and bread toast flavors. Delicate, nuanced, balanced, and precious. Clean, but lively bread yeastyness wonderfully complemented by a soft graininess. Crisp and tart finish. A highly sessionable brew that is nuanced and memorable

On tap: Pours a cloudy pale golden with a creamy froth of white head. Has a soft floral hoppy and pale sweet malty nose. Starts with good fullness and lightly sweet and floral flavor before a drier earthy bittersweet finish. True to style and very drinkable.

Churchkey, DC tap ($7): Pours a super hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma of citrus, specific kinds of apples, and a light touch of hops. Taste is kind of like a very fruity pilsener. Slightly sweet. Hops are rather on the subdued side of things. I think it is very well-balanced and contrary to some previous reviewers, I thought that it wasn’t watery in the least. A plenty unique beer deserving some recognition.
