2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Vikingbrew (193) - Colorado, USA - SEP 28, 2010
I sampled this brew at the brewery in 2008. As it’s description says, this pale ale is light on hops which brings my rating of this beer lower than average. The flavor was not complex but it was smooth. Overall, this pale ale is average and I would probably not buy this beer again

12oz can(courtesy of RSRIZZO)-It pours a nice amber body with a small off white head and an aroma of malt and caramel. Taste of malt and burnt malt. No noticeable hosp characteristic. Not a very good APA but it fits an amber much better.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 BritAlesRule (180) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 3, 2008
Winning floral and caramel malt aroma, appearance of dark apple cider. Subdued NW hop profile and more malt on the tongue. Light carbonation but good bite, enough for me anyway. Not really my favorite style, but a good balance here.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 RSRIZZO (1679) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 15, 2007
Had this beer at the All Colorado Beer Fest on 11/10/2007. Aroma is light with some roasted malt tones. Color is a light hazy brown with ok carbonation and a thin yet tight head. Taste is a wine like malt flavor on a thin body, this is backed by a mild hop flavor and fair bitterness. Its an ok beer.
