COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Arctic Fox English Pale Ale is a refreshing beer with a rich full body. We combine six English and Australian malts which produce a unique complex malt character.

A subtle hop character and light bitterness is developed through the addition of traditional English hops.

The English Pale Ale is bottle conditioned just like our Ice Cap Lager, however the finished beer has a slightly lower carbonation level.

The English Pale Ale is available in 330mL bottles.

Pours amber with a small fading head. Aroma shows mostly... orange marmalade. Never found that before. There’s some sweet clean malt underneath but thats it. Flavours are mostly sweet clean malt with a hint of caramel, and some faint floral hops. Body is watery for a English pale ale.

Sweet aroma with a hint of honey and the taste is malty, slighly floral with a low bitterness.

From a 330ml bottle on 19/2/2010. Has a yeasty, bready aroma. Flavour wise, there’s sweet malt, a little bit of fruit (peach), and some biscuit. The carbonation is quite high. Has a modest hop finish. A decent drop.

Bottle. Spot on to style, and refreshing amongst the other standard pale ales in Australia. Shame about the garish label.

330ml bottle. Thin wispy head that vanishes like a ghost in the night. Honey colour with biscuity aromas, like fresh baked cookies. Not a lot of body and substance. Okay without being great.

Amber, coating white head. Medium bead. Nose has fruity malt and some floral hops - a bit orange orchard-like. Thin body with some fruit and nutty malt and fair bit of citrus. Balance improves as it warms to close to room temperature. Rather over-carbonated (again, it improves as it sits). Finish is nice and minerally. After their lager I was expecting a bit more from this.

Bottle. Pours a nice orange / amber with small creamy coloured head. Aromas are most definately all about the malt with plenty of sweetness, a little caramel and some roasted notes showing through. Minimal hop character. Flavours are once again about the malt with plenty of sweetness initially. Some nice hop character near rhw end. A little thin but overall a nice beer. Good stuff

Orangey red body with non lasting head. Sweet honey aroma and malt flavour. A bit dull really.

Tap. Tasty, but the body is thin. Floral in the nose. Flavour starts sweet, and bitterness takes over; with good length. Thin and watery in the palate. Dark yellow, with a thin head that breaks.
