Bottle. Thick and cloudy looking golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is like smoked bacon and the flavour is smoked and lightly dulled spice. Overall a plain blonde beer.

Hazy golden beer with a small white lacing head. Moderated aroma with malt, caramel, some spicies, must and green apple. Medium bodied with a simple flavor proflie. Some malt, spicies like clove/cinnamon, some vanilla, tart green apple. A bit of herbal hops in the fjnish. Dry aftertaste.

Head gone after scant seconds to amberish, applejuice-coloured beer. Oxydated malts, maltextract, very unobtrusive. Slightly toasted, rather malty; finishing faintly (CO²)-sourish. Light to medium bodied, very carbonated feel, despite the visual absence. Very neutral. For the good thing: it is a change from fizzy lager in a beer-poor region. Thanks to Stef!

bottle brought from a shop in lyon by a wonderful woman. unfiltered hazed golden wheat colored body with a frothy, dense off-white head. yeast forward nose with potpourri esters (dried fig, flower petals, anise, ginger and other unidentifiable spices). lactic and tart in the finish. interesting and certainly drinkable but lacks intrigue.

Bottled, 330ml from Chateau Fort de Sedan, France. Gold, hazed with white head. Light, bright slightly perfumed beer with a faint spicy, herbal body. Fairly plain but quite acceptable, a pre christmas dinner beer which worked well enough.
