Commercial Description:
Brewed by Arendals Bryggeri, the second oldest Norwegian brewery (after Aass) that is still brewing. It is now a Ringnes subsidiary. Arendals Pils won 'The Brewing Industry International Award' 1996. The beer has a golden, summery yellow colour, and a mild, sweet aroma. The exclusive Saazer hops give a mellow and rounded flavour with subtle and balanced notes of fruits.

Courtesy of Yngwie. It’s golden with a nice and creamy head. The aroma is on the thin side with light notes of flower. The flavour has a light sweetness with light notes of malt and citrus. Wet & cold and inoffensive.

500ml can. Clear, pale straw body. The white foam is very short-lived. Grassy smell with a touch of dry vegetables. More vegetables in flavour. Slightly malty hints with vague acidity touch. Carbonated on a high level. Watered (24.07.2007).

330ml bottle. Pale, golden body with a big white head. Decent aroma of malt, and hops compared with other Norwegian macro pils. Flavor has malt, a little hops and a bit sourness. Medium , watery body with a unpleasant harsh aftertaste.

Can 50 cl. Golden clear color, white vanishing head. Not much of anything, typical Norwegian pilsener.

500 ml can. Light golden colour and crystal clear. Medium-sized white head. Nothing special here. Little aroma except a light grassy hop note. A clean slightly sweet grainy maltiness. Little flavours and little bitterness. Pretty much an average euro lager.
