Una cerveza más del monton, como cualquier Pale Lager promedio. Buen sabor, refrescante, suave.

Tried this one while on holiday in Arequipa, Peru, February 2007. Typical industrial pale lager in all aspects of the beer.

ha1ag (610) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 10, 2009
Bottled in Cecilia Rest. in Arequipa, color is very light golden, with quickly disappearing head without lacing. Grassy malt nose. Aroma is malty and grassy, with a dry metallic flavour and long drying aftertaste. Quite unpleasant.

Nice, a little graspy but refreshing and not annoying in the Peruvian city of Arequipa. GOlden and yeasty.

The local beer of Arequipa. Bottle. Yellow golden colour with an average sized head. Malty aroma. Clean bit sweet malty flavour with a hoppy touch.

Lilith (242) - Santiago, CHILE - MAR 12, 2006
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2006 Golden yellow color with a quickly disappearing white head that leaves some film. This beer is totally LIGHT. It has a light smell of malt. A light watery body with flat carbonation. Its flavor is also lightly sweet than soon turns into bitterness in an umpleasant way, leaving you with your mouth dry and thirsty. The Arequipeña Scharzbier is much better, go for that one and pass this!

Panzerfaust (509) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - MAR 6, 2006
UPDATED: NOV 17, 2006 Pours a clear golden color with a medium, white, frothy and long lasting head that leaves a good lacing. Soft grainy aroma with an unclean metallic note and hints of straw and a little of skunk. Flavor is not very good, being as unclean as the aroma with slight bitterness and somewhat acid touches. The palate department is also not pleasant with a very watery mouthfeel, light body, flat carbonation and a typically South American Pale Lager character. I managed to drink the whole bottle though.

May have been slightly skunked, or maybe off, or maybe just old, but this had a very, very peculiar odor (not aroma) emanating from the glass. Sour grass-like. I, of course, drank it anyway. Better flavor than smell but only by a small margin.

Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - SEP 9, 2005
Sampled with RAYBOY01 & frankenkitty: This brew has a strange aroma - grassy and metallic, musty and chalky. Except for the slightest touch of sweetness and a suggestion of hop bitterness, it was pretty much like drinking fouled water, which accounted for the dirty bittereness of the finish.
