A traditionally dry stout with a portion of flaked rye which contributes a bready pumpernickel style flavor in the finish.

not a fan of this one. Dark almost black in color. No aroma. Nothing but bitter rye on the taste. Not a fan.

On tap at brewery. Poured a dark clean black color with a thin tan short lived head. Light aromas of dark malts and spicy rye. The rye is very much evident in the taste that contributes a light amount of spiciness from start to finish. Hints of dark roasted malts are noticeable, in the finish. Medium bodied and slightly thin with a low amount of carbonation.
