inbirraveritas (1258) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 5, 2011

judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 20, 2009
Few sips sample from a 0.5 l can. Pours golden yellow with mostly diminishing white head. Sweetish corn, slightly metallic grains dominates in the aroma. Even the harsh overcarbonated texture can’t hide the metallic, gasoline-like off-flavors. Cloying sweet corn lingers for a long time. Exported for the eastern-european cheap beer market.

0,5 l can, bought in a Lidl, called Argus Premium, 5% abv.
Poured clear golden with a medium white head what disappeares fully. Minimal aroma of malt, some maize. Empty flavor, minimal taste of sweet and fruity pale malt, some nothing with a light grassy hop in the finish. Easy drinkable nothing.

omhper (19976) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 3, 2009
Canned. Clear golden, small head. Light floral nose. Sweetish and fruity, mdium bodied with clean hard mouthfeel. No bitterness. Sterile lager of the dullest kind.

0.5 l can bought in Krakow I believe, thanks Marcin for sharing! 5% ABV. It poured pale yellow body with medium sized head. Fruity aroma, some cheap malt of course, but not too bad. Some sourish corny flavor, also malty with slight herbal bitterness. Pretty thin bodied. Finish was short, relatively foul but still had some background bitterness. Boring pale lager, but pretty fine, specially for a supermarket beer, which I see now this is.

larsga (6323) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 5, 2009
Medium offwhite shiny head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Resiny apple malts aroma with buttery notes. Dry-sweetish apple malts taste with papery notes. Mid-bodied. Dry papery grassy mealy aftertaste. Decent, but lacking in character. (0.5l can from some random corner store, Prague.)

Can, 5.0%. Clear golden colour, small white head. The flavour has a hint of spicy hoppiness. There are also some rough hop notes. The aroma hop are OK, but the flavour and bitter hops a bit unpleasant.

Quack-Duck (8159) - Down South, GERMANY - AUG 4, 2008
can from LIDL Písek. Clear pale yellow, medium-sized head. Malty nose. Thin-bodied, slightly malty and hoppy, rather watery. Thin and boring but refreshing.

Can, 500 ml, 11P
Appearance: Pours almost perfectly clear, but with some micro sediment floating in the body texture, body is pale golden or in fact yellowish in colour, carbonation of body is weak, head is initially small, foamy, quickly decreasing and finally disappearing, white in colour, no lacing, nothing worth special interest.
Aroma: Tap water, very weak, a kind of little bit sweet, light, honey like, reminding plain, wattery, refreshing Pale Lager, weak but pleasant, very clean. I give 3 for aroma, also in order to compensate the grade for appearancr, a kind of faint graphite hint manifesting hops.
Flavour: Nice, easy going, medium carbonated on palate, diacetyl, rubber, clean grains, no additional sweetness, simple, nothing repulsive, well balanced and mild, cheap nice Lager, good for a hot days or to dine with, finish duration is rather short, still water is dominating over all ingredients.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is chalky a bit, but generally clean and mineral.

Can from LIDL, Kosice, Slovakia (BB 12/2008)
Golden color, small white head. Annoying yeasty-fruity-cardboard aroma. Fizzy. Sweet fruity-malty flavor, quite watery. Does not taste bad, does not taste much of anything. Less annoying than the most of Slovakian lagers I bought from supermarkets.
