Canned. Clear golden, small head. Light floral nose. Sweetish and fruity, mdium bodied with clean hard mouthfeel. No bitterness. Sterile lager of the dullest kind.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Canned. Found in a mini market in Prague. Pale golden beer with an airy white head. Papery aroma, herbal, harsh, some fruits. Grainy vegetable flavor, papery and notes of vommit. Terrible. It also tastes like its way stronger than the 5.0 found on the can.

Can from LIDL, Kosice, Slovakia (BB 12/2008)
Golden color, small white head. Annoying yeasty-fruity-cardboard aroma. Fizzy. Sweet fruity-malty flavor, quite watery. Does not taste bad, does not taste much of anything. Less annoying than the most of Slovakian lagers I bought from supermarkets.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can, 5.0%. Clear golden colour, small white head. The flavour has a hint of spicy hoppiness. There are also some rough hop notes. The aroma hop are OK, but the flavour and bitter hops a bit unpleasant.

500ml can picked up from a fridge at Caprice, outside Budapest. Fading white head over a pale golden body. Grassy to the nose added by sweet malts. Taste of dry lemon and pale malts. Dry ending. Lively carbonated and foamy in the mouth. Possible to drink with some refreshments (01.08.2012).

550 ml can. BB 23/11/14. (Lidl) Augustów, Poland.
Clear deep golden colour with a small foamy white head.
Sweetish malty aroma. Bulky lagery. The flavour is a bit more East European than Dutch lager but you can’t say... It doesn’t say where it’s brewed. There is however a picture of a windmill on the label. Alcohol, sweetness and malt.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tin from Lidl, either of Polish or Romanian provenance. Dark gold with a slither of head. Not bad for a budget tinned lager; toothsome sugar-slick body, squeeze of shrub and lemon, crackers and biscuit base, probably a big bag of corn. Aroma pleasant shrub, honey, breadstick and cherry blossom hints broadly in the Germanic style. Dip of sherbet-flecked paper. Not so much corn. Very drinkable.
