Bought a can from Lidl, Budapest. So it’s not a premium beer. (altough that was written on it...) it was a real surprise: very good price/performance ratio! Nowdays when other big-named beers are contain only 4,2-4,5% alc. Argus has 5,0%. In other words: not bad!

This brand was introduced this week in the dutch Lild supermarket chain and is going to serve as the chain’s house brand here. I don’t have may information as to where it’s brewed but I found on RB a brand with the same name and label, so I asuume it’s the same and it’s brewed in Poland. If I’m wrong please someone fix it. On to the beer. Really cheap, it was 5.5 euros for a crate of 24, I only got two bottles to try it though. Poured into a pilsner glass.Carefully poured, gave me two fingers of white creamy head, with very good retention. Colour of the beer itself is deep golden. Very little activity in the glass. Head leaves no lacing as it goes down. Aroma is malty and pretty much that’s it. Pleasant though. Taste is also more on the malty side, a bit weird at first but not that bad.Aftertaste not pleasant, but at least it doesn’t linger for long. Light body, but not watery, average carbonation. Dry on the palate. Overall, a cheap generic beer, good for BBQ’s on hot days, or for any other mindless activity (watching football etc)

Can 500 ml
Appearance: medium deep shade of gold with fairly decent white top.
Nose: Soft grassy aroma followed by grain like touches. Note of dusty honey.6-
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied. Fairly clean lager with slight oily body and light grassy metallic green hop side. Plain , straight even smooth but also bit boring. Decent surprise to see softer less carbonated lager with solid body at discount store.

Can from shop near Cape Hill, Birmingham. It’s yellow. Smells like gateau. Quite pleasant to begin with, with a crisp balance, but then fades into a mushy mess, with some rotting fumes, breaded bedspread and cellotape. However when guzzling downwards through the glass, the revulsion gives way to doughty fizz. Not too bad really.

Medium offwhite shiny head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Resiny apple malts aroma with buttery notes. Dry-sweetish apple malts taste with papery notes. Mid-bodied. Dry papery grassy mealy aftertaste. Decent, but lacking in character. (0.5l can from some random corner store, Prague.)

30vk bottle shared with kermis. Decent white head. Clear golden pour. Not a bad pils especially for the price.

0.5 l can bought in Krakow I believe, thanks Marcin for sharing! 5% ABV. It poured pale yellow body with medium sized head. Fruity aroma, some cheap malt of course, but not too bad. Some sourish corny flavor, also malty with slight herbal bitterness. Pretty thin bodied. Finish was short, relatively foul but still had some background bitterness. Boring pale lager, but pretty fine, specially for a supermarket beer, which I see now this is.

Can, 5.0%. Clear golden colour, small white head. The flavour has a hint of spicy hoppiness. There are also some rough hop notes. The aroma hop are OK, but the flavour and bitter hops a bit unpleasant.
