Draft from the Clarendon Hills location. Faint red color, thin white head. Somewhat soft malt aroma with a moderate drinkability and slight piney finish. Not bad, but pretty typical.

I bought a single 12oz bottle of this from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Plainfield, IL in Fall 2011.
Pours a cloudy copper orange color with not too much of a head. Scent of caramel malts and buttery tones. Taste has that dry malt flavor to it as well as some hops. Fairly drinkable and enjoyable, just wish there was some stronger variety of flavors hitting the taste buds. A decent every day kind of beer.

Some earth and malts in aroma, relatively subdued. The flavor is caramel malts and nutty. Kind of thin in aroma and flavor, passable though.

Bottle pours light amber with a white head and a caramel nose. Flavor is again light caramel with some earthy notes.

12oz bottle 4/26/11 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-58° in English Pint-Pours a
medium reddish brown with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, brown sugar, and caramel.Taste of hte same. This medium bodied brew is nothing to write home about.
