At Park Tavern in Rosemont. A rather malty IPA, darker in color than many. Piney, herbal and grassy hops. Something tinny in the flavor too? Average IPA. Serving: Tap
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Onslow (921) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - APR 5, 2013
Daft into pub pint. Clear amber brew iwth off white head. Aroma of malt, some citrus, resin and a little earth. Taste matches aroma - somewhat malty and not extreme in the hops, but solid citrus and resin finish.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pablo951 (139) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Had it out of a bottle, pours with a thick, creamy, yellow head. Heavy malt taste with a slightly bitter hop finish. Has a very dark amber color, surprising for an IPA.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ChiGuy68 (108) - Illinois, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Tasted from a 12 oz. bottle. Poured a dark, redish brown color with a full head that disapated quickly without much carbonation. Malt aroma and taste with not enough hop for my liking.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Tonkun (319) - New York, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle. Amber pour with a lot of head. Citrus, grapefruit, pine, caramel. Light citrus with bitter finish. Light body.

While this isn’t groundbreaking, I think it’s a pretty solid beer.
Nice sharp taste accented by interesting sugary sweet flavors that finishes quite clean.
If you’re looking for "big IPA" this isn’t it.
But if you’re looking for a drinkable IPA, this would not be a bad choice.
Many would call it bitter, but hop heads might want a bit more.
My biggest disappointment is it’s just a little too well behaved-- nothing about it is particularly prominent, unique or noteworthy.
But it’s really not bad in any significant way either.
So, "pretty good IPA".
3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Christpuncher (219) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Rally tasty ipa that is not too overpowering. Goes down smooth and has the right amount of butter taste.

Pour is a copper with a small white head. Aroma is a citrus hop. Flavor is more of that citrus hop with a minor caramel malt backbone. Not a world beater IPA but it has plenty of hop flavor with some chewy malts in the backround. Better than the rating on here.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 GranvilleTim (1206) - Granville, Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Copper hue with a light tan head. Aroma is spicy with roasted malt. Taste is malt, a little spicy hops.
