Pours a deep copper color with a small but well retained head.

The aroma is more caramel then hops really & the hop character comes across as soapy & kind of fruity. The aroma displays some alcohol.

The flavor is spicy and a little bit on the soapy side. This beer is mildly bitter and only slightly sweet; given the caramel in the aroma I expected it to be much much sweeter. Like the aroma the alcohol shows it’s self in an unexpected and odd way in the flavor.
This is not particularly bad beer, nor is it unpleasant... but nothing really sticks out as particularly wonderful about it either.

This beer is Much easier to drink than most IPAs, but it is still very tasty.

At Park Tavern in Rosemont. A rather malty IPA, darker in color than many. Piney, herbal and grassy hops. Something tinny in the flavor too? Average IPA. Serving: Tap

Daft into pub pint. Clear amber brew iwth off white head. Aroma of malt, some citrus, resin and a little earth. Taste matches aroma - somewhat malty and not extreme in the hops, but solid citrus and resin finish.

Had it out of a bottle, pours with a thick, creamy, yellow head. Heavy malt taste with a slightly bitter hop finish. Has a very dark amber color, surprising for an IPA.

Tasted from a 12 oz. bottle. Poured a dark, redish brown color with a full head that disapated quickly without much carbonation. Malt aroma and taste with not enough hop for my liking.

While this isn’t groundbreaking, I think it’s a pretty solid beer. Nice sharp taste accented by interesting sugary sweet flavors that finishes quite clean. If you’re looking for "big IPA" this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a drinkable IPA, this would not be a bad choice. Many would call it bitter, but hop heads might want a bit more. My biggest disappointment is it’s just a little too well behaved-- nothing about it is particularly prominent, unique or noteworthy. But it’s really not bad in any significant way either. So, "pretty good IPA".

Rally tasty ipa that is not too overpowering. Goes down smooth and has the right amount of butter taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a copper with a small white head. Aroma is a citrus hop. Flavor is more of that citrus hop with a minor caramel malt backbone. Not a world beater IPA but it has plenty of hop flavor with some chewy malts in the backround. Better than the rating on here.

Copper hue with a light tan head. Aroma is spicy with roasted malt. Taste is malt, a little spicy hops.
