2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Location: 12 oz bottle at a Greek restaurant, 7/30/14
Aroma: The nose is fairly typical pale lager, grainy, some lemon notes, grass, and a little bread
Appearance: This one pour a clear golden-yellow color with a fizzy head on top of it
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, clean, with a little sweetness, and a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light, but not as watery as some of the style, with a lively-to-fizzy carbonation
This one was pretty much what I expected, while at the same time being a little better. Maybe I just really was in the mood for a light, easy drinking beer, but this one hit the spot.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
33cl bottle pours with a clear deep gold yet watery body and almost no head. The aroma puts off sweet creamed corn and some mild floral hop notes. The taste is similar as you’re greeted by a big dose of sweet creamed corn. It then slides into sugary malt sweetened subtle floral hops. Behind those notes are sweet fruity esters like honey covered apples wedges and pears. A bit less sweet and this might not be too hateful.

Bottle; color was a dull yellow. Not much head. Aroma of sweet corn. Flavor was a mess; tastes like malt from a can and some corn. Not good.

March 6, 2013 - bottle from Randalls. Clear yellow pour with some head and spotty lacing. Grainy and malty aroma, was surprised to not get some skunk with the green bottle. Taste was consistent with aroma and a metallic finish.

Aris "Greek" beer is owned by Danish macrobrewery Carlsberg, so it is no surprise that it is just another uninteresting lager. I am wondering it the Greeks really drink beer or if it is something they just put their label on to sell to non-Greeks in Greek restaurants.
