Hazy golden-orange, big thick white head lasts a long time. Smell is decent, lager hops and light pear and apple scents. Mouthfeel is flat, definitely needs more carbonation. This beer just sort of oozes around the mouth leaving pear, plum, grape and prune flavors before fading to a coffee hop finish. Its actually more complex than you would expect, with flavors remniscent of a really weak barley wine or strong ale. Leave it to the Greeks to come up with this weird beer. I can actually imagine drinking this down with a nice greek salad loaded with feta. The flavors would balance well I think. Also, notice this is in the top 20% for the style, not a bad choice.

Golden, flax-colored beer with a fizzly white head. Musty aroma and a dirty shoe malt flavor, along the lines of many bad imports. Burnt sugar character.

Pours gold with a small but lasting head. Aroma is of roasted malts, lemon, honey. Taste more of same and a little like a wheat. Smooth.

Very different tasting lager, I am not sure if I have ever had greek beer before. Anwyays, although at a different time I might have been more critical of this beer, I enjoyed it this time around (drank this during my first session of Halo 2, so I was estatic). Tasted weird flavors like rice and roasted amber goo ... again my perceptions were off, completely focused on intense multiplayer mode. Anything would have seemed decent to me at that time.

My second Greek lager at dinner last night. Not a bad golden color with a fizzy white head... which went away quickly. Kind of a sweet malt aroma and a sweet taste. Fairly crisp finish. Better than our macros, but that’s not really saying a bunch.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2007 A decent lager that reminds me of a wheat beer. Has a large head with a cloudy gold color. The aroma is bready with oats. The taste is somewhat dry. Has a floury mouthfeel. Has a decent character.

This was definitely one of the most boring brews ive ever had. It pours with a light yellow color with a thin white sheathing head that dies pretty quickly. The aroma is pleasant with malts present, slightly sweet, but really there’s nothing to it. The flavor is similar. Some malts, a hint of lemon and citrus, but really nothing to this. It tastes and finishes very dry and doughy with hints of cardboard. Dry long-lasting finish, but very thin mouthfeel. Highly carbonated!!! Very boring may i add...very little to this beer, hardly worth even wasting the time to describe it.

Wow, I did not like this beer. All other Greek beers I have had have far surpassed the quality of this one. It was the taste, it just left me wanting. Terrible aftertaste. Not good.
