On tap at Arizona Wilderness, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings lots of lovely floral and piney dry hopping upfront, followed by dry biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderfully constructed, with lovely floral dry hopping and gentle biscuity malt. Now this is how you do a pale. Robust, without venturing into IPA territory. Excellent.

(Draught) Pours a clear orange body with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, caramel, toffee, and grapefruit. Flavor of orange, grass, pine, resiny, and caramel with a dry, bitter, cloying finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper orange with medium creamy off white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and bready malt. Medium mouth, citrus, pine, light bitter finish, very good.

Smells like hops. Taste is pretty much all hops. Medium carbonation with some foam. I don’t like pales, so your mileage may (and probably will) vary.

Draft sample at AWB. Poured clear dark golden color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

sonnycheeba (4956) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Draft at brewery. Pours mostly clear, bright amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready malts, caramel, light oats, floral notes, and some tropical fruit notes. Flavor is well balanced malt profile with smooth hop bitterness and the oats do a great job providing an extra bit of creamy mouthfeel with some hop bitterness lingering. Medium body and carbonation.

Huhzubendah (3443) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 18, 2014
On draft at the source. Orange / amber body with a small cap. Citrus and candied fruit aroma. Subtle floral and herbal qualities meld with caramel malt and bread characters. Light bodied and eat drinking. Tasty.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20
Pailhead (6386) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - AUG 14, 2014
On tap: The aroma consists of with light-moderate citrus, orange, lemon peel, and a hint of fruit. It’s a dark transparent amber with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin ring. There is some sporadic webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a light-moderate citrus/orange with a hint of caramel. The finish has light grapefruit with a hint lemon peel and spice. It’s light-medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, a solid and refreshing Pale Ale.
