Pretty well done but standard west coast IPA. Fruity Curtis hop aroma. Medium bitterness. Nothing bad, nothing great.

Sample. The one beer they always try to have on. Golden amber color with white head. Grapefruit and some pine aroma. Big, big flavor that makes it easy to drink.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. This a solid brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour on tap at the brewpub, slightly hazy yellow-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice orange, bread, grass into some pine, touch of biscuit with a hint of floral hops. Taste was a mix of grass, pine, slight orange into a bit of floral notes, touch of biscuit, bready notes, finishing bitter.

Regular tap at the brewery. All around solid IPA. Very drinkable. Perfect amount of hops, with a sufficient malt backbone.

Totally disagree this is a West Coast IPA, which I tend to find unbalanced. Rather, here, the maltiness is beautifully palpable, complemented nicely by piney hops and ending in a satisfying bitterness.

Tap at the source. Hazy golden amber pour with a small head that fades to a thin ring and leaves some nice lacing. Lovely citrus and pine hop aroma. Tastes mildly bitter and easy to drink. Light dankness, juicy citrus, and a nice pine balance. Not really complex but smooth and easy to drink.

No problem with this IPA at all. pretty nice overall but ive moved on from this style of IPA but it does appeal to the masses as a nice flagship. Solid citrus and piney aromas with a sweet bready caramel maltiness to the nose. Taste is medium sweet with a bit of bitterness on the back end and a fruity hop quality.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at the brewpub. Prototypical visuals ... golden amber, full head. Drinks with the requisite full-on character of of West Coast hops. I’d have gotten a growler if I’d planned ahead. (#5939, 2/28/2015)

Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy bright copper with a fizzy white head. Tastes like dry grapefruit, creamy caramel, dry toasted malt. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like toasted malt, grapefruit, caramel.
