COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Santa Teresa Belgian Enkel is on tap now. The monks too enjoy a fine ale with a meal. This 5.2% abv ale uses noble hops and a yeast strain from the Trappist monestary, Westmalle.

At 4 am each morning steam billows from the Brouwerij der Trappisten van Westmalle, the trappist monastery in Westamlle Belgium. The brewery helps fund the abbey and other charitable causes. Monks have been brewing for centuries, and believe a fulfilled life requires your hands never be idles and always be providing. The monks enjoy enkels, or singles, with their dinner. A much lower ABV helps cognitive thoughts. These beers are extremely rare to find, even in Belgium, and we are very proud to represent this fine style.

Food pairing: chicken wings confit.

Charming little table beer. Pale color with white head. Aroma is classic Belgian yeast with spices, bubble gum, fruity, and a maltiness that is a bit grainy. Taste has very mild tartness, with the fruit esters dominating and the grainy sweetness on the finish. Drinkable and nice.

(Bue en fût sur place); Mince, granuleux, minéral et avare sur la verdure. Un liquide sans grandes qualités mais qui ne fait rien de mal.

Draft at brewery, not too sure what 3/4 problem is, this is an enjoyable rustic single. Simple style with unique yeast flavors, interesting and kept me going back for more. I liked it. Dry finish, light straw color with moderate head. Sticky lacing. Dry finish

Clear amber with a short white head. Starchy and husky pale malt, coarse and rough, grist-like grain huskiness, sour and adjunct-like. Honey-ish malt aroma is strongly papery and husky and lightly toasty. Quiet aroma hops show as apricot and orange. Medium-light body, absurdly rough and coarse in the mouth with seltzer water carbonation, finishing dry and sour and papery with the flavor of saccharine. Poor flavor and aroma expression, overly rough texture and unclean fermentation (autolyzed yeast).

Golden amber. Belgian yeast dominates, some banana and light spice. Clean and refreshing Belgian beee that doesn’t stray too far but really nicely done

Smell is mild yeast. Taste is yeasty awesomeness that actually captures the Belgian character pretty well! Very pleasantly surprised by this one. Medium carbonation with a decently full body and a hearty mouthfeel.

32 ounce growler thanks to Jason. Light pale orange color. Noble hops. Grape. Slight sweetness. Very drinkable.

On draft at the source. Golden body with a thick, white head. Floral aroma, Belgian yeast. Bready with a subtle spice character. Light in body with big flavor. A solid homage to the Trappist monks at Westmalle.

Tap. The look is golden in color, lacing white head, and clear. The smell is noble hops, malty, bready, dough, and fir. The taste is dough, sweet, noble hops, dry, ok.

Draft. Hazy dark orange amber. Excellent frothy creamy lasting white head. Lighter bodied. Dry. Biscuit. Earthy. Some trappist yeast. Touch of fruitiness and sweetness. Smooth and drinkable. Still lots of flavor. Very nice.
