DruncanVeasey (1612), Burbage, Leicestershire, England Apr 24, 2007 Headless raspberry red 2 pint takeout from The Merchant, Rugby. A sniff of sticky caramel. Buttery, shortbready malt richness with an abruptly bitter finish. A nibble of hazelnut. Very lengthy biscuity afters. Drinks with the rounded sweet maltiness/bitter hop balance of a full-flavoured Alt. Not bad at all.
