Tasted 20/4/2013 draught "Ye Old Red Lion", Chieveley, Berkshire. Poured a clear golden amber with a thin white bubble head that laced OK. Aroma slightly of malt with a hint of caramel.Tasted subtly of sweet caramel malt with a slight hops bitterness. Light body. A smooth, soft, light ale with a very slight bitter finish. OK.

Cask at Ye Olde Red Lion, Chieveley. Golden amber with a loose white head; crisp floral aroma; biscuity malt taste; with some decent hops to finish. Very summery and refreshing, even on a wet day in December.

Clear pale golden with a good sized frothy white head.
Nose comprised malt, barley, orchard fruits and a little peppery.
Tastes of dry orchard fruits, light hops, pale malt, toffee a little cardboard and spice.
Medium bodied with little in the way of carbonation lending towards a dry finish.
