Cask handpump at The Bell Inn, Purton, nr Cricklade, Wiltshire. Friday 4th July 2014 Pours mid gold hazy, touch of burton snatch on nose. Itís as I expected, served suprisingly quite cold, but not suffering for it. Fruity with a light bitterness throughout its tangy, fine. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Bottle. My first for a long time from this brewery. Golden and clear. Slightly sweet with a small head. Pleasant but nothing really distinctive about it. Pretty average.

Cask at Ye Olde Red Lion, Chieveley. Golden amber with a loose white head; crisp floral aroma; biscuity malt taste; with some decent hops to finish. Very summery and refreshing, even on a wet day in December.
