COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Quakertown Stout is a slamming concoction of dark roasted malts, oats, and the most robust maple syrup we could get our hands on. We brew it to commemorate the original Quakertown community (1875-1922) and the enriching music festivals and community events that are held in Quakertown Park today. Made with two row, brown, roasted barley, Blackprinz, and wheat malts; along with oats and maple syrup. Hopped with Columbus hops.

A pretty typical stout except for the hint of maple in the aroma. Lightly sweet and very smooth.

Pours a very dark brown with khaki colored head, thin viscosity for an imperial stout. Chocolate and roasted malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some sweetness.

Pours black with very small tan head out of bottle. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, and syrup. Flavor similar to smell with strong roasted flavor. Good beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pours a solid black with a short brown head and lacing. It has a rich aroma of roasted coffee, toast, and some chocolate, with a similar flavor profile over a heavy but smooth body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured into oversize wine glass. Old log. Don't remember specifics, but I do remember being more impressed with the appearance and aroma than the actual taste. Overall, pretty solid.

Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Smells of roast, chocolate, coffee, and subtle hints of sweet smokiness. Taste is sweet, chocolate, hints of coffee. Full-bodied with a creamy texture and smooth mouth-carbonation, Armadillo Ale Works Quakertown Stout finishes with a smooth, sweet, booziness.

Bottle thanks to trade with rightcross55! Pours a deep brownish black with bubbly tan ring of head that leaves light lace. Aroma is nice on the maple, actually confess through the roast and chocolate nicely. Taste follows, amazing on the maple syrup notes, earthy, sweet, smooth. Very nice, booze well hidden, I very much enjoyed this, a little thin but very nice.

Poured a dark brown color with aromas of roast, light coca, maple syrup, and some light roast. Flavors were light maple syrup sweetness, followed by some chocolate, and light bitter coffee grounds. Decent overall, enjoyable would drink again for a morning tail gate.

Bottle:   Moderately sweet example, roasty, a touch acrid.   Has some dark chocolate and coffee aspects.   A bit more acrid on the backside.   Reminds me of chocolate cake without the frosting.   Well, I make it sound too sweet perhaps.   Roasty, mild to moderate sweetness, with a little bit of acrid bits.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finishes seems to get a bit sweeter.   Has aspects of chocolate and maple syrup at this point.   Might be a little too sweet, at least it gets sweeter as tim goes on.   Tiz okay.   Thanks Bill!
