Bottle, 5.1%. Mild banana aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has some banana, not a lot of citrus. Hint of plastic. Like so many other German wheat beers.

Cloudy deep blond color; creamy head. After the UrStoff, this one as well, smells of dirty water and feet. The flavor is too sour, I fear an infection or fermentation problem; the underlying beer has a bit of spice character and very little fruitiness. Off.

Nur minimal hefiger Antrunk, etwas herb, unscheinbar. Außerdem beinhaltet das Bier ein muffiges Eigenaroma. Später etwas hefiger, dennoch weiter unscheinbar und viel zu mild. Ziemlich langweilig... 10/7/6/6/7/6

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a dense medium-sized foamy white head. Yeasty, sweet and moderately wheaty malty aroma with notes of cloves, vanilla and a rather restrained fruity (banana) touch. Sweet flavour with a light level of acidity, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Sweet malty and moderately wheaty taste with a shy fruity touch; medium-dry sweet and wheaty finish with a distinctively banana-fruity touch showing up in the aftertaste. Easy going Wheat. 16.IX.08

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2012 New rating october 2012. sourness dominated both aroma and flvor, sadly not the nice pleasant experience as the last time we visited. I suspect they have problems with the tap system. Old rating, 4.1. Draught at the brewpub. It’s unclear, warm golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has a clear, but yet pleasantly soft and subdued note of clove/yeast together with banana. The sweet flavour has the same nice soft clove/yeast notes, a lot of banana, light wheat and the finish is slightly spicy. Just like a weiss/weizen should be, well-balanced, soft, charming and nice!!

Bottle. Golden- orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is wheat, malt, orange, banana. Flavour is wheat, malt, orange, citrus, banana. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. It pours a hazy, golden-orange body under an off-white head. Banana, bubblegum and some cloves on the nose. The same goes for the flavor, which is on the fruity side. Medium body, effervescent. Banana finish. Too much bubblegum here. 091024

Hazy medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, banana, buble gum, clove. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to creamy, carbonation is soft. [20091024]

Hazy golden with a tiny white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with wheat and banana notes. Flavour was yeasty with wheat and banana notes. Finished sweet and yeasty.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Clear opaque golden with an off-white head. Lots of banana aroma. Medium body, sweet banana and yeast, very soft mouthfeel. Smooth finish. One of the nicer Hefes. 241009
