500ml bottle from Arran Brewery shop. Golden colour with thin white head. Aroma is biscuity and floral. Tastes like a cross between an IPA and a golden ale. Caramel, biscuit and something floral with a dry, bitter citrus finish. Better than I thought it would be.

Aroma: Big caramel and pine aroma with a grassy undertone.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Average carbonation. Light lacing.

Taste: Grassy with light flavours of biscuit and citrus. Taste seems a bit diluted somehow. Bitter, slightly sour, metallic finish. The 5.5% ABV is well hidden.

Palate: Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation.

Overall: Not as punchy or interesting as I was hoping for. It doesn’t really taste like an IPA, more like a strong Golden Ale.
