Feb 14, 2008 Cask handpull at County Hotel, Ashford. Deep chestnut. Ginger from the start. No great condition either. I tend to like ginger beers, but this one is awful. Almost undrinkable. Ginger lemon shandy. Taste of stale dust. Pretty poor.

Feb 4, 2008 Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes. Dark coppery brown. A nasty whiff of ginger in the aroma. Taste is also unpleasantly gingery with a background of Band Aid and proprietory medicines. Foul.

Feb 24, 2006 [cask at JDW] The aroma is sweet and malty, caramel, some fruit and a hint of ginger. medium body, finish is dry and leaves a bit of ginger on the tongue.

Jan 24, 2006 Aroma is powdered ginger and hopy. Taste is reasonably balanced though shifting to the hopy side, maybe due to a little of the ginger still playing around.
