Bottled, 500ml from S.H Jones in Banbury. Gold with white head. Light malty beer, sweetish biscuity notes from the malt with a hint of caramel and lemon. The citrus note increases with a light hoppy note. Just a little flabby from the sweetness but reasonable enough.

tombyars (1362) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - JUL 16, 2014
Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) on 31st May 2014. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear orange amber in colour with a thin open white head. Very short in the aroma with notes of weak malt grain and green apple. Thin watery mouthfeel and poor lacing. Mixed malts give a thin digestive biscuit base with little complexity of other flavours. There is a slight dry grain husk note in the faint metallic aftertaste. Finish is very poor with little body and just a hint of watery malt with weak marmalade and oak cask barely present. This is a poor Golden Ale, completely lacking in depth of flavour and complexity when compared to a classic like Theakstons Best Bitter which has the same ABV! This is a really poor session ale - one to miss.

500ml bottle from Ninas, Tollcross. BBE 31/12/13. Pours clear pale amber with a massive rocky white head, too fizzy. Aromas of metal and red fruit. Tastes of not very much, light toffee maybe. Watery finish.

zacgillbanks (2302) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2013
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This hazy amber beer pours with a large foamy head and has flavours of oak and toffee with almond and wood on the fruity finish. A lot of flavour for a low ABV beer.

Thanks to Sean! 50cl. Netter mild-weicher Antrunk. Die Ale-typische Note kommt im Hauptteil gepaart mit netten, mild-weichen Karamelltönen. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhaltend, trocken, etwas röstmalzig und schöne Ale-karamellig. --> Sehr leckeres Ale! 12/12/12/12

Bought from Arran Brewery shop. 500ml bottle. Pours a caramel colour with decent white head. Quite sweet with a lightly bitter finish. Somehow I am getting a touch of ginger in the aroma and taste, possibly an outside influence. Very nice and easily drinkable.
