3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy, clear red pint. Slightly sour aroma. Flavour is toffee but with a too-tangy sweet edge for my taste. It’s nice enough but unfortunately has quite a watery finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazed orange-brown with a thin head. Has some sweet fruit in its nose, a little drier in its taste in this respect with some grain evident.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Thanks to Seanyfo for this beer. Best before date is 30.07.2014, Batch 539. Light amber colour. The beer starts mild, slightly sour. Nice "red" malty hints, very smooth. The main part is a bit watery, nice malty and a bit (for me) too sweet. The slight sourness in the end seems to be an infection - it doesn’t really fit into the whole picture. But as the beer was stored correctly and has still 9 month shelf-life, I don’t know. In the mouth stays a nice, smooth vienna-style malt-aroma with the typical bitterness of a nice ale.
--> Interesting beer!

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dense nut brown with a fizzy beige head - intriguing with a swirl how it settles. Cheap rustle of malt on the nose but little else. Overly carbonated, especially for a bitter. Flailing malt sweetness, faint bitter, clean enough finish. No amazing.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma: Burnt coffee, tamarind sourness and nuts.
Appearance: Hazy mahogany body with a thin off-white head. Average carbonation. Light lacing.
Taste: Toffee, nuts and burnt toast.
Palate: Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation.
Overall: A very bitter Bitter with a surprising amount of flavour for its low ABV. Weird sourness though.
