Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

On tap at Pour 24. Caramel and hop in the aroma. Taste is sweet with hop and caramel. Really a pleasant beer.

22 oz bottle. Dark ruddy brown color with light brown head. Light citric nose. Head is light and wispy upon sipping. Sweet tobacco and caramel notes. Very dry finish but the head gives it a light fluffy dimension to the finish. Very well balanced. Crystalline lacing. A real sipper.

Pours reddish brown and dark. Caramel malts and dominating hopping. I don’t think I could drink this easily without a couple of other beers or liquor in me already, but as it was, this went down with a palatable flavor profile. Still though I often wonder if even strong ale needs to be this bitter and how extremely bitter, high IBU ales get rated so highly again and again.

pours very dark, initial aroma was candy sugar and a fruitiness like sour cherry - as it sat a bit, the aroma became more subtle and with less of the sour fruit. Flavor is, as noted, an assault on the palate. Pleasant fruit and malt with a hint of chocolate and a noticeable burst of alcohol to start and then bitter, bitter bomb of hops on the roof of the mouth to finish. As it warmed, the booziness was more focused and less pleasantly integrated to where it overwhelmed. Interesting effort, but Not my favorite.

Deep brown with a lasting off-white head, leaving lace. Aroma of caramel, malt, toffee and citrus hops. Rich malty biscuit and toffee flavour, quite sweet with a solid bitter finish - not much hop flavour though.

Bottled. Strong hoppy aroma with hints of fruit sweetness. Redish amber/brown color; beautiful. Lasting beige head that starts thick and stays around. hop dominate flavor with prevalent, unmasked alcoholic flavor. Bitter finish as expected by the dominate hops but not as unbalanced as maybe expected. A lot to handle

I know I’m late to the party but, give me a break I’m just starting out in my serious craft journey. Poured from a awesome looking bomber. That insulted me several times while reading the back story. I loved it. It’s a deep red brown color with a wee bit of head. I was expecting more head but, I’m not that concerned about. The aroma is faint but, there. I really had to get my nose in this one. It smells of citrus and hops. The taste was wonderful. There’s the initial bite of the citrus hops and nice caramel smoothness that makes this very drinkable. The mouth feel is pleasant with a decent heartyness moderate carbonation. Overall this is a winner in my book. I’m not a hop head by any means but, if this the gateway to bigger and stronger hop flavors. The door has been kicked wide open my friends.

Pours a light re-brown with good dense tan head. Strong and assertive aromas of appetizing hops, and dark burnt malt. Full bodied, almost oily, with good carbonation. The taste starts innocently enough with sweat dark malty flavors but the gives way to a giant tidal wave of hop bitterness with a long, lingering strong black coffee and bitter baking chocolate finish. Not for the faint of heart. This is an all hops goliath. Not sure what foods will go with this, this beer pretty much overpowers and bullies everything else.
