Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

22 Oz Bomber from Mintz on Main, TTown.I Loved this beer! Had my eye on it for quite a while. How can you help it with a great bottle like that? Wonderful pour with a great head! Nice and hoppy with a dark taste that was clear and flavorful! You will love it!

well well well what an interesting beer....reminds me of another beer i like....Mayhem! Mayhem is good don’t get me wrong but this beer is bloody GREAT! 8/10 for flavour because it possibly could do with a tad more bitterness but to be honest this is pretty spot on! Still not as good as Armageddon but.....almost!

I love how this laces a glass. Always perfect. I love the big bold flavor.

I tried this beer after reading Greg Koch’s interview with "The New Brewer" in "The Brewer’s Association Guide to Starting Your Own Brewery." I presumed that I would not like it based on its description but was astounded at how delicious I found it to be. It is high in alcohol content so be prepared for that. Great beer, the fame is well deserved.

Pours an iced tea brown with a thing mocha head. Very aggressive, hoppy nose with a smokey aroma. Taste is dominated by hops and hints of caramel. Thin, surprisingly sweet finish. Would like a stronger mouthfeel, but a very good strong american ale.

Bottle. Sweet malty aroma with fruity, nutty boozy hints. Murky brown orange body with a thin slightly wispu off white head that clings to the glass. Nice lacing. Bitter upfront, and very dry. Body is floral sweet hops with grapefruit notes. Finishes super dry leaving a lingering bitterness. Hops seem to have faded in the aroma but remain in the mouth.

I have had this on numerous occasions but just realized I never rated it- This was the beer that started it for me with Stone Brewing. Nice balance of bold flavor and drinkability. It can be a little over the top in succession but to sit back and have one or two- enjoy it’s worth it. The dialogue created for these beers are pretty good but by now I think we get the hint- Stone makes aggressive beers!
