Bottle into pint glass. Pours a deep amber. Aroma is a little sweet malt and a little hops. Not getting much there maybe too cold. Taste is malt with a nice hop bitterness and a little alcohol. Really nice beer.

Aroma was not as strong as I would have thought. Sweet malt, reminiscent of a pancake with the slightest hint of hops. Looks great - more red than brown with a white head of foam. Tastes strong, bitter at first, then sweet, then back to bitter in the aftertaste. Complex flavor, but a little too bitter for me. Perhaps it would be a little better with some aging. Palate is good for the style. Overall good, but not something I would actively look for. I thought Double Bastard and Lucky Bastard were better.

The branding and story on the bottle was excellent... Probably the best story for a beer. The bottle is definitely a keeper.
Nice brown color with a quarter inch creamy head. Malty flavor with a good hop hit, but not overly bitter. Very balanced and easy drinking.

An old school craft beer that has stood the test of time. I’ve been drinking this beer for years and years, and I still dig it! Pours a dark red, brown with aromas of slightly roasted malts and fruity hops. Very balanced and malty with a nice presence of piney hops. Big, bold and delicious, this beer will be relevant for years to come.

They said i probably wouldn’t like it and they were right on the money. I’m not a hop head in the least but i tried this anyway. All i could taste was the overpowering grapefruit flavor from the hops and if there was a malt note to it then it was lost on me, no balance what so ever.
Sorry hop heads this one isn’t for me.

22oz bottle pours a reddy brown color with some beige head. Full malty flavor and some medium hop bitterness that stays in the background to the malt. A little spicy.

Drucken på fat på bishop. Tung och söt med mycket karamell och citrusmarmelad och rejäl citrusbeska. Lite spretig och inte jättepigg humle. Gjorde mig faktiskt lite besviken utan att på något sätt vara dålig.

This beer is no joke. Nice brown pour with a bit of haze that goes into a creamy head. Aroma hits hard with hops and caramel touches. Taste is bitter, rich, hard. It intensifies as it rests on the palate, too, which is rad. This is one beer that lives up to its billing. Love it.

650ml brown bottle. Coppery brown pour with a small tan cap and lots of lacing. Nose has some toffee and pine.Taste has caramel, chocolate, piney hops. Nice finishing bitterness. Piney and citrusy aftertaste with some maltiness. Nice mouthfeel and decent drinkability for it’s strength. A solid brew, waited over 10 years to try this.
