Nice deep amber color. SLight hop aroma. Body is ablend of malt, caramel, and a hint of roastiness and bitterness. Finishes with somewhat of a hop bite. Another great brew from Stone.

An excellent beer. Cheers to Stone Brewing for this one. Very nice amber color, strong hops presence with a complex malt flavor and aroma. And the label on the bottle is enough to make it worth drinking. Believe the hype, this is simply a great beer.

A delicious beer. I thought with all the hype, it wonít live up to it but I was mistaken. A dark amber/brown with a cornucopia of aroma and flavor. I wasnít much for the hop heavy brews but this is very well balanced. I can appreciate the hop flavors without them overpowering my taste buds. Damned good!

Itís all marketing. They try to do too much with this beer and leave me empty. I donít understand all the hype. It wasnít aggressive it was mediocre.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2005 A sweet initial taste that finishes with strong hops. The reverse psychology ad campaign is a little patronizing, but theyíve got a great beer to back up their arrogance. Not just a catchy name, this stuff is good.
The more I come back to this the more I like it, along with all of Stoneís products. Definately one of Californiaís best breweries.

fruity aroma and taste with a spicy sweet finish. The farther along in the bottle I got the more I liked it.

i thought this was one awesome beer! deep amber color, very thick and frothy head on my bottle that left lacing up the entire glass. nice hoppy and mild citrus flavors. the bitterness in this beer lasts forever (almost literally), but itís very well-balanced in my opinion.

I wasnít ready for this one. Medium brown in color, with a bit of fizziness in a week head. First taste is an explosion in your mouth that can be unplesant if you arenít prepared for it. Strong hop with snappy citris, coupled with a dark maltiness. Truly a taste of itís own.
