Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

22 oz bottle...pours a crimson caramel color with a tan head that leaves some sticky lacing. Aroma consisted of a generous amount of piney hops, citrusy hops, tobacco, and molasses type notes as well. The flavor was a bitter sweet mix of toasted malts and the piney, resonous hops. There was a smidge of caramel/toffee to adequatley offset the bitterness. The palate was filled with lively carbonation, and a strong, lasting bitter aftertaste. A medium heavy ale, although it could make for a nice semi-session ale.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits. Pours a dark, murky amber with tight webs of lace and a thumbnail of tan head. The nose is deliciously fruity with notes of piney, citrusy hops and starfruit. Flavors are similar to the nose and include more pine tree sap and a metallic alcoholic bite in the finish. Carbonation is lively and the body full. Despite the amusingly insulting label, I was able to muster up enough sophistication to enjoy this fine brew by a great brewery.

Pours out deep red with foamy head. Taste is malty and hoppy. Very smooth balance. Sweet but bitter. Crisp and clean. Very drinkable.

Sampled at the Great Decatur Beer Tasting Festival in Georgia on 10/18/08. Amber in color. Pine hops on the nose. Taste is of pine hops and grapefruit. Definitely bitter, but there are some caramel notes to even things out.

Taste 12/8 Bottle. Looks: Lovely dark red body with a lacing head. Aroma: Tons of malts and yeast. Taste: Nice thick malt base with a good sour yeast. Finishes with a nice sharp hops bitterness. Unique, over the top and quite drinkable.

Bomber. Glad this is available in FL now. Pours deep amber color, with an off white head. Very floral smell. Big and hoppy. Has the nice citrusy and evergreen flavor. Definitely some caramel sweetness in there too. Really good...in fact..I Was worthy

Pours a rich chestnut amber color with a creamy off-white head. Rich aroma of citrus and floral hops, nicely balanced. Taste is hoppy and fruity, with hints of grapes balanced with caramel hops, and a bitter finish which reminds me of a grapefruit. Very strong lacing. Overall, a robust beer that feels like a cross between an IPA and an amber lager.

This beer is available on tap at several places near me. So, I drink a good bit of it. Copper with a large head. Taste of malt, hopes, and bitters. Some alcohol taste as well. Very pleasant aftertaste. Recommended.
