3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Vito’s. Served far too cold. Pours a deep ruby red, with a thin patchy beige head, reasonable lacing. Rich toffee, some dank hops, slightly rich resin on the nose. Medium boozy and caramel sweetness followed by a nice hop bite. Bitter, dry and full finish. Not overly complex for a strong ale, but tasty and satisfying nonetheless.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours ruddy reddish brown and mostly clear - like iced tea - with a massive, diversely bubbled and cratery head in off-white. Aroma is citrus hop resin and arrogant earthy and pungent roasted malts. Taste is rich toffee roasted malts that almost resolve to porterous chocolate but then see-saw into a piney hop finish that lingers as bitterness before malty after mouthfeel. Damn good.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A great beer. Back in the day it was one of the more aggressive beers you could buy. Its still a solid hop effort, though not particularly balanced.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at Hennesys San Diego, after my boss decided go order me the strongest beer they had. Luckily it’s only 7.2 but surprisingly it doesn’t taste it, don’t get me wrong this packs a punch, but with its juicy fresh hoppiness this an amazingly enjoyable beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a lovely ruby red with a finger of foamy off white head.
You can smell it from across the room. Aromatic bitter orange and grapefruit, pine resin, sticky toffee. Enticing.
Flavor is lovely. Juicy orange and grapefruit from the hops, some pine, some caramel, and a strong bitter finish that hangs around in your mouth.
Body is pretty heavy, but the mouthfeel is smooth.
Can’t fault this beer. It’s juicy, hoppy, rich and delicious.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Maledetta tentatrice!!

640mL bottle Enjoy by 01/27/14?
Beautiful looking beer presents itself in my "IPA glass"; deep burnish copper body, good clarity, pours a big rocky head that settles down with big clumps of lace.
Intense aroma; hops dominate with plenty of pine & citrus, not to be overshadowed, plenty of malt in the works with notes of toffee, toasted nuts, biscuit and faint coffee undertones.
Big rich body, oily, sticky, resiny, lingers long on the palate. Moderately high carbonation.
Palate explodes with big upfront malt; more biscuit and toffee sweetness. Hops cut through with a barrage of citrus rind, dried herbs, cut grass and pine needle. Strong lingering persists, well balanced, alcohol sneaks in pretty much undetected.
Big brash hoppy beer; does what it says on the label!
