Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Aroma is mostly citrus hops. Mahogony color with a small but lasting white head. Taste is caramel and citrus hops, smooth bitter finish. Soft mouthfeel that is very smooth. After taste is great; long and bread-like. Could be smoother, alcohoal is a bit too noticeable.

[Bottle] Pours a beautiful clear ruby/caramelly brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is citric hops, caramel, raisins and some grass. Flavor is quite raisin-y with a significant residual hop bitterness. Really a nice beer.

Dark amber with big, foamy tan head / Soft, malty, bready nose / Full body, sweet malts, chewy, with a little dry touch on the long finish / Flavors of burnt sugar, coffee, and dry pine, with notes of grapefruit / Complex, superb.

Kind of looks brown,. clear, and boring in the glass. But the citrusy aroma and flavor packs quite a punch. What I really like is the thick creamy feeling as it sets in your mouth. Good brew.

Looks like I’m rating 2000 for the Arrogant Bastard! I’ve had the Oaked version, and loved it, i’m quite anxious to try this one out! Deep amber pour, thick juicy, sticky head. Aroma is thick juicy aromatic hops. Some nice earthy hops mixed in with piney resins, and some citrus. The flavour is also very hoppy, lots of pine, and some citrus in the end. Good malt to balance out the beer. Wicked bitter finish that stick to the back of my throat, what an awesome beer!

From 22oz bottle. A good, solid ale. Not exciting, not disappointing, just a good, solid ale. The marketing shtick on the bottle is a little silly and would probably be better applied to a better beer, but it’s fun.

Bottle. Good beer but the oaked version is even better. Has strong citrius aroma although appearance was a bit cloudy. Medium body with a moderate bitter taste.

Pours with a medium sized light brown head that is mostly diminshing. The body of the beer is brown, coffee like color with hints of red in it. The aroma smells of dark fruits, some molasses, and some caramel. Initial flavor is sweet with and finishes off with a bitter taste that lingers in the mouth long after the beer is finished! amazing! It is creamy on the palate with light carbonation. Amazing beer to have with close friends during a labor day bbq!
