Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Pours a deep red with a thick head. Taste is bittersweet with burnt, fruity notes. Commanding bitter aftertaste. As fun to drink as it is to rant about.

Bomber. Pours a deep, deep amber red with a huge rocky head that diminishes slightly but last throughout. Excellent lacing. Aroma is a mix of light malty sweetness, caramel, and wonderful citrus, piney hops. Flavor is initially sweet followed by a grapefruit bitterness and a finish that never quits. Medium to full bodied. Perfect carbonation. An awesome brew.

I remember my first impressions over 2 years ago...it was brutally bitter, times have changed and so many beers consumed since then, no longer do I consider this the hop monster, nonetheless after a dozen since then I still enjoy this beer. Color is dark, almost opaque red, head is nice dark brown with mild lacing. The aroma is sweet hops, it’s the balance that is nice with hops winning over the malts ever so slightly and the tast and finish is just like the nose, with a slight edge to the hops, not as creamy feeling in the mouth as some others. Great beer however.

Bottled: Crazy beer that you have to appreciate. Pours a redish color with a white head. Smells of hops and pine. Leaves blasts of malts, pine, caramel, and hops. A very interesting beer!

The aroma is very hoppy with pine and grapefruit. It’s also got plenty of caramel. The appearance is reddish with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. This is a good beer.

Poured a reddish brown color with a white head leaving a little lacing. Smell is full of piney hops, there’s definately a strong malt base, but this is hops all the way. Taste starts a little sweet with some caramel, but is quickly full of piney hops. Pretty good. Medium bodied, higher carbonation. Once again, pretty good, and is worth a try.

This was one of my first craft brews and honestly it was an aggressive beer that kind of kicked my ass. Fun to drink and a taste that I’m working to develop.
