Tap. Amber/brown with medium beige head and nice lacing. Aroma of malt and caramel. Medium body with some alcohol warmth, a very big malt presence, and a bitter hop finish. Very Nice.

*22 oz Bomber at home* Pours a deep amber, has very minimal nose beneath a thin white head. Has a dry hop front followed by a mild sweetness with a slight oily feel on the palate. Definitely a bold big hop beer and worthy of a session, even at over 7%.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle into pint glass: pours reddish brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, and a little earthy. Taste is caramel, nutty, very malty but nicely balanced with a lot of hops. Bitter finish, medium to heavy body, slightly astringent. Good beer!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted from a bomber. It poured a reddish brown with a quickly dissipating, beige head that left streaky lacing. Aroma of sweat alcohol and malt. Taste of spiced malt with a hopped finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had it out of a bomber! Pours a nut brown clear color with a thin but lasting yellowish head. The aroma is of deep hop and malt and the taste is a strong hop malt taste, thick even, with a oak bourbon finish.

A really really good beer. Deep dark color, copper but almost red. Good head. Great hoppy flavor. Smooth malts. A really phenomenal brew. Try the Oaked Arrogant Bastard if you can find it

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2014 Donít believe the naysayers, this beer is not bitter or hoppy at all. Remarkable maltiness and very smooth and drinkable. An amazing beer to behold.
