5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This might look like too high of a score. But Arrogant Bastard is perfect. Its the beer that plunged me into the craft beer world. The first great beer I tried, and my introduction to Stones beer. Neck and neck with my favorite beer, Ruination IPA. They switch off depending my mood. I love this beer, thank you Greg Koch. Anyways...
Pt. Bottle, pours a dark, ruby red, crystal clear. Has a 2 finger frothy, tan head with nice, lazy lacing. Aroma has strong floral and citrus hop notes, resin, caramel malts, and delicious perfection. Taste starts smooth and sweet with slight fruit, biscuit undertones, pine, which spikes an instant eagerness for the deliciously bitter hop finish. Palate is medium/oily/sticky. Good carbonation. Overall a perfect beer. Taste, drinkability, EVERYTHING. A staple in my diet. Go Stone!!!!!!

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
22 oz bottle from Albertson’s in Hillsboro, OR. Aroma has hints of raisins, cloves, and leather. Mouthfeel is creamy, smooth, and sweet at first, then bitterness takes over and lasts long into the finish and aftertaste. Definitely worth repeating.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bastante buena, increíble final amargo seco duradero. Gran cerveza.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hoppy fruity aroma, pours a dark murky red, lots of hops and leaves with a bitter aftertaste, full bodied and creamy, did I mention hops, excellent ale, I am worthy.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber (enjoy by 10.2.14) - Dark transparent ruby. 1 finger off white head. Just all around good. Evenly malt & hop balance. The slight high abv is not noticeable. Personally, a beer many may enjoy.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle from Wegman’s, West Seneca, NY. An attractive deep copper colour with a thick, frothy, cream head, looking like a good English ESB; inviting caramel malt aroma; thick malty body with the sweetness very nicely balanced by some powerful hops that add a woody dryness and a touch of spice; the finish is long resinous and dry with some lingering biscuity malts and a hint of grapefruit. A really good sipping beer.

I have start with a slight proviso...I had a few before trying this one and it probably...almost definately tipped me over the edge...I started dancing for crying out loud! Its a poky little number, drinks very well and I enjoyed it alot. I don’t remember and especially lively aroma and its on the belgian side of ales style wise. Hmmm, will have to try it again to be sure.

They’re right, I don’t like it. Beer doesn’t have to be about a pissing contest. I’ve had far smoother whiskeys straight.
