COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Poured a red with a tan head. Spicy aroma of hops. Very nice bitter citrusy flavor of grapefruit and piney hops. Excellent Stuff!

I had this with Mark and John and Bekah in Sacramento on our trip out west. At garden to grill vegan restaurant.

Draft. Beautiful red appearance. Very easy to drink red ale. Solid in every category.

Pours a bubbly dark mahogany with a lovely large foamy off-white head. Aroma is a near-perfect blend of fresh citrus hops, roasted malt, caramel and spices. Flavour follows the aroma but the hops are more upfront.

Tap @Brewdog Shepherds Bush. Clear, dark red brown. Frothy offwhite head. Malty, earthy, toffee aroma. Flavour has malt, caramel. Bitter and slightly boozy finish.

More like a red ale to me. Strong, rich malty flavor with a moderate amount of sweetness and the caramel/toffee you’d expect from a red ale. Also wet on the tongue and moderate alcohol. Moderate citrus and pine hops as well as maybe a bit herbal.

Old rating. Bomber from Old Town. Pours a nice clear amber with a medium-sized beige head. Citrus, pine, caramel, toffee, molasses aromas present on the nose. Medium body with bitter overtones and a hint of sweetness of the palate. Nice carbonation. Nice big dry bitter finish. A classic from Stone.

On tap at Beertown, Waterloo. Stone! At Beertown! Earthy and lightly citrus aroma. Earthy, smoky, caramel, intensly bitter. Light citrus taste too. Boozy and bitter finish.

Bij Dora en Kai, warm maar lekker. Ruikt kruidig, smaakt lekker bitter. Mooi donkerrood en prima schuin laagje

Pours a beautiful dark mahogany color. Nice creamy head with plenty of lacing. Aroma of pine, tropical fruit, apple, tobacco and syrup. Tastes of mass amounts of caramel balanced by the hops. Everything is working in concert. Definitely well crafted. Finish is abrupt and astringent. A wonderful beer indeed.

Pours a nice Amber hue with a frothy white head. Head retention is excellent. Aroma (the stench of cigarettes just filled the pub so I really can’t make out many aromas) citrus, bitterness, slight pine and maybe some orange. Taste of malt, hop bitterness , pine, citrus, spice, slight sourness and herbs. Amazing as always. Still looking forward to their pale ale 2.0. Can’t wait for that one.
