COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

One of my favorite beers of all time. A great strong ale. Heavy malt forward, but not too roasted which would take away from the balance of the hoppy finish. Holds up really well against most foods you pair it with. Cheers!

[US West Coast Trip 2013] This is how i like it. Kraftig aroma och smak. Ett djup och rundhet i kroppen som är väl balanserad. I min mening perfekt kolsyra för en Am. Strong Ale. Hade gett den ett overall på 17-18 men efter glatt läst etiketten blev det 19 dirr !

Aggressive, rude, abrasive. Mouthfeel like thick whole milk. Piney, rustic aroma. Unapologetic hop assault. Flavor is toffee, white pepper, and very slight lemon and pineapple. Finish is dry as dust with a little soapiness. Lacing absolutely does not quit. This is a good beer, probably a great beer, but I wouldn't use the word "enjoyable". It most certainly is what it is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. Poured to glass.Pours very clear dark mahogany copper with frothy beautiful khaki head. Aroma is pine maybe some chocolate nuts? Very pungeant and complex aroma. Taste is malt in the front and generous hops in the back. Full body. This beer is gorgeous. Not a session brew but great.

Lagerboy (705) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 10, 2013
Bomber. Clear deep dark copper brown, foamy tan head settles and fades. Pungent aroma of singed roasted caramel malt, piney citrus hops. Intense dark roasted caramel malt taste, strong juicy citric hop bitterness, some grapefruit and earthiness. Soft carbonation, full bodied, aggressively hopped. Long bitter finish. This powerful ale takes no prisoners, and is definitely DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys)

Pours almost a dark maple color with a thin beige head.. tons of lacing.. woodsy, pine, soap aromas.. flavor follows with some grapefruit as well... strong hoppy aftertaste that definitely sits and lingers on the back of the tongue.
