Des arômes au profil anglais où on note un malt biscuit au beurre, une levure légèrement lactée et des houblons aux puissantes notes de pamplemousse blanc. Très amère, une trace de sucres non fermentiscibles et une minéralité à peine perceptible. Très costaude, braquée, elle est de texture huileuse, moyennement effervescente, elle donne une finale très aromatique et s’étire sur une interminable amertume. Superbe bière! This was a very good beer with a lot of flavor. Nice and hoppy with a strong malt backbone that finished with a small alcohol warmth.

I don’t think I could write this wonderful beer high enough. the combination of complex hops & sweet malt. strong pine and grapefruit hop aroma pairs well with overall taste. a well rounded beer u have to taste to believe.

Pours a dark golden orange. Aroma is very complex. Taste is great. Really strong on the palate. One of my favorite every day strong ales!

On tap in a pint glass... Nice head with nice citrusy aroma. Very dark, amber color. Tastes initially of hops but finishes very smooth.

Big flavor, mild to moderate bittering, the beer came to life when the temperature of the beer rose closer to room temp.

The nose on this is...shockingly weak, given how strong everything else in it is. It has a slightly toasted bread smell hinting at some darker malts. Hops seem to be of american high alpha variety, good citrus/fruit smells.
Leaves good head disspates a bit quickly, and medium lacing.
Tastes heavily bitter with a bit of malty sweetness, good strong biscuit taste.

Not a ton going on in the aroma. There is a caramel/malty smell with just a slight bit of hops. Taste is very bitter though. Also has an alcohol bite/burn at the end. Could this potentially be ageable? We will see....

So extremely well balanced between the malty body, hop flavor and alcohol bite. Great deep amber color. Aroma could be a bit stronger.
