COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Reddish brown with a slight off-white head that hangs around for awhile and leaves a good deal of lacing. The aroma is heavy on the piney hops and the caramel malt. The flavor is very hoppy and high in alcohol.

Bomber. Poured dark brown, big tan head and lots of lacing. Aroma of hops combined with some malts and caramel notes. Taste is bitter, hoppy balanced with some malts, nutty undertones. Great beer.

Hell maybe I'm not worthy. While not a bad beer I just don't get all the hype. Definitly overrated in my opinion. All the makings of a strong ale just a little overdone. Not my thing but others love. To each their own. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from cellarbrations super store hami hill. Pours a dark amber with a finger of head and leaving lots of lacing. Aroma is fantastic. Up front you get a lot of nutty characteristics followed by oak with slight citrus. On the palate it's quite full bodied with moderate carbonation. Taste wise it's very bitter with lots of nutty and woody notes. Really awesome beer!

Deep mahogany pour with a thick creamy and persistent head. There’s plenty of strong malt character on the nose with some dark fruits. Big and arrogant toasted malts on the tongue along with some sticky piney hops and a big bitter finish. For a malt-forward beer (not my usual wheelhouse) this was outstanding

For a belligerent strong ale this delivers. The malt assault is very much signature here. Smooth mouth feel and very nice hops and bitter backing. This is often overlooked when I am shopping. Love it when I grab it.

I call it Mahogany Mike as in Tyson. Walks right out and punches you right in the taste buds. Awesome color. Rich. Complex. Sneaky abv content. The 22oz is just about enough for one sitting. Not for amateurs. Maybe a little hoppy? Read the label. Nuff said. Wish Id said all that. All hail Stone! Try all of em. But not in one night unless you need a laxative...

Amber pour with an aroma of citrus and hops. Strong hop and sweet malts and citrus, with a bitter dry finish, quite good.

Poured from a bottle. Deep brown with a hint of red. Tan head. Not much aroma. Slight fruity smell. Very creamy mouthfeel. Hard to describe taste, but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
