Tap. Poured an intriguing reddish brown with a nice tan head and good lacing. Caramel and hops in the aroma. Great flavors with the pronounced hop profile, caramel and a good malt balance. Good bitterness on the finish - not too much but definitely strong.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very acceptable aroma and a delightful deep rusty orange amber appearance. Carbonation is perfect and this one slides down the pipes quite easily. I was very pleased with this one and found myself wondering exactly why I hadn’t had it before now....Proof my tastes are being honed and changing as well...upon researching, I found I had this one a year or so ago before I was rating here. I sure wouldn’t have given it a fair shake then so it worked out well because it’s def a brew that will be in my glass often after this tasty experience.

50cl can. Dark red brown color, thick head. Earthy hop aroma, toffee and dark caramel (kind of like a beefed up ESP?). More citrus and bitter hop resin in the flavor, nice maltiness. A great beer all around.

3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
16 oz can. Pours deep mahogany with a huge tan head that lingers leaving huge lacing. Aroma of overripe fruit, sweet malt and a hint of cinammon. Fruity, sweet malt flavor, quickly giving way to long, herby and piney hops linger, leaving tongue a bit numb. Thick and oily mouthfeel with lots of warm alcohol linger. Overall, liking the balance. Not as aromatic, but good malt to hop profile.

500ml can from Brewdog shop.
Big off white head, good retention, good lacing. Hazy dark amber body. Woody nose, raisin, brown sugar, a little honey. Flavour is sweet malt, biscuit, dark fruits, hop bitterness follows and lasts well. Great mouthfeel, creamy, oily and a little sticky. Like a big bastard supercharged brown ale.
