This is my favorite beer right now, ever since I tried it a few years ago. Unfortunately, I canít always afford to buy it, but when I do itís always heavenly. I am so impressed by everything about this Ale I would never let my fridge run out of it if possible.

Tried it because I liked the name. It is a stronger beer with a bitter (but not bad) taste. Definitely hoppy. Good beer.

Got this on tap at the growler station at Andersonís Market in Sylvania OH. Incredibly hoppy and not for the faint of tongue. Personally one of my favorites. Rich deep amber pour and fairly heady. Good lacing. Very bitter and hoppy. This isnít your uncle Markís beer!

Malty cereal aromas with a hint of the alcohol content. Pours clear orange with a white head. Strong malty flavors finish bitter and slightly alcoholic.

Its aggressive, hoppy beer with more floral notes, some orange. Hops from start to finish, interspersed with some nice caramel malt.

Easy to love, great expression of hops and malt, the kind of like an old ale, or a barley wine, maybe a double IPA, but just dang tasty, west coast american IPA.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is bready, molasses and malt. Dark brown color with ample tan head. Starts malty with hint of sweetness. Quickly becomes bitter, which lasts through the finish. The bitterness lingers for about 15 minutes, the malty flavor returns after that and lasts about an hour (provided you done drink or eat for an hour). Not overly complex, just right. Great craft beer, name is appropriate.

On tap at pgh Beerfest. Taste is pretty much a hoppy barleywine. Brown color with an off white head. Just ok.
