This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

22 oz. bottle from local grocery store. Dark brown color with foamy head that quickly dissipated to some bubbles. Hoppy aroma. Boy, some solid hops -- bitter taste with a piney finish that lasts. Really enjoyable (if you a hop monster).

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2016 Dark brown, transparent. Big and solid head after while reduced to low permanent collar. Strong aroma of pineapple and caramel with citrus and alcohol in the background. Heavy, noble, long lasting bitterness. Probably will never drink it again but definitely worth trying.

Can from Alko. A hazy raisin brown with strong natural white head. Sweet nose with raisins, spices. Herbs, pine and hints of something metallic, could be the can too. Full body with a complex, enjoyable palate. What I consider to be the typical american ale.

Nice reddish brown ale with tan head which leaves nice lacing as the head dissolves. Aroma has nuts, caramel malts, pines, grapefruit. Taste is malty caramel sweetness at first, then pines and grapefruit hops. Full body and medium carbonation. Quite malty ale but hop kick is there too.

prawie przejrzyste z zawieszonym pyłem, brązowo-czerwone, dość bujna piana ecru szybko opada do trwałego kołnierzyka;
cukierki ziołowe, miód, po zabełtaniu karmel/toffi i kwiaty;
ciało niskie, średnio nasycone, ziemiste, lekko ściągające z goryczkowym finiszem;
karmel, czerwone owoce, popiół, silna popiołowa goryczka uderza mocno, ale po chwili tonuje i trwa przyjemnie długo;
ja się napaliłem na cuda-wianki, a tu takie lada co bez szału w dodatku strasznie ziemiste.

Pours a dark mahogany with a foamy white head. Aroma is spicy, pine, and citrus hops, and bread and caramel malts. Flavor is caramel and toffee, with spicy and pine hops. Has lots of carbonation and moderate bitterness. This is a great beer and I appreciate how Stone has built a character around it.

Dark amber colour, big beige head. Aroma of caramel, spicy and piney hops, bread, dark fruits, toffee. Sweet bitter taste with light dryness and bitter hoppy finish and aftertaste. Medium body and average carbonation. Nice dark ale, good balance between sweet malts and aggressive hops.

(Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale) Can 500 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 7.2% Deep amber colour on the body, clear, with a good sized and thick tan head on top, good retention. Aroma of caramel, toffee, hops. Taste follows, caramel and toffee, cookies, good hop presence and a nice bitterness that becomes a sharp one on the finish. Medium body, good carbonation. Nice and very drinkable.
