This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Bottle. Loved this dark brew right from the frothy starting pour. The head is solid, small bubbles with lots plenty of life and staying power. A sweet, resinous flow over the tongue leaves a piquant aftertaste with bitterness that mellows after a short time leaving a full sensation of the flavor on the tongue. Inviting. Beguiling. Delightful. This is a brew you want to spend some time with.

Can from Stone Berlin: Aroma is like I remember it. Quite aggressive citrus notes hustles about with the darker toffee and malts. Taste on the other hand isn’t as aggressive as I remember it, even if it packs some attitude. Sweet and almost creamy toffee notes that gets wrestled down by a citrusy and piney hop-attack. Great bitterness. This is truly an awesome beer.

Burk inköpt på SB. Maffig doft som väller in i näsan. Kakao, grape och tall. Rejäl och kraftig maltkropp. Förvånandsvis låg sötma. En massiv humlebeska fullständigt raderar avsaknad av sötma.

Canned 16th of June. Aroma of prunes, plums, raisins, red grape, resin, herbs, pine. Barley wine’esque aroma. Pours deep brownish red with a half finger off white head. Taste is medium plus bitter and medium sweet. Taste follows the aroma but has a certain spiciness that goes along with the bitterness. Lighter side of full bodied, oily, soft to average carbonation, aggressive and spicy hoppy finish. Nice you can actually smell and taste the hop freshness in this. Big and bold stuff.

Tap @ Keller, Tartu. Pours caramel amber with medium beige head. Aroma is silage, slurry, hay, light sweetness, fruits, some dust. Taste is sourish, bitter, caramel, creamy, oily, snotty, some fruits. Fills mouth with saliva. After taste is very long, spicy, hops, irritating and sharp. Good for the first beer in the evening but not for the last one - hits you quite hard!
