COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Bottle. Pours golden orange brown with a thin white head and good lacing. The taste is hoppy, but mild, fairly easy drinking with a bitter finish.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2013 Draft at Bull Run Tap House. Pours dark brown with a lot of khaki foam that leaves a lot of lacing. Notes of pine and grass on the nose. Lots of bitterness on the finish but hey the beer is called "Arrogant Bastard".

Draft at lucky lab. Pours deep copper with a small pillow head. The aroma is hoppy with some caramel balance. This is a nice bitter beer with a little extra roughness on the finish. the alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle. Dark but very clear amber color. Good head. Not much aroma. Not as malty tasting as it looks. Not bad at all for a change of pace.

Bottle. Loved this dark brew right from the frothy starting pour. The head is solid, small bubbles with lots plenty of life and staying power. A sweet, resinous flow over the tongue leaves a piquant aftertaste with bitterness that mellows after a short time leaving a full sensation of the flavor on the tongue. Inviting. Beguiling. Delightful. This is a brew you want to spend some time with.

On tap in a pint glass... Nice head with nice citrusy aroma. Very dark, amber color. Tastes initially of hops but finishes very smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at Firewater's Atlantic City NJ. Pours a dark copper/brown with very little head. Aroma of sweet malts, dark fruits (raisins & plums), and some citrus hops. Taste is much the same, sweet malts, citrus hops, some dark fruit notes, and booze.

This is a very good beer but it’s definitely over hyped. Like many of Stone’s beers.
