This is an aggressive beer. You probably wonít like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Pours a copper color with a medium head. VERY strong and hoppy. Some sweet notes to counter the aggressiveness.

650ml bottle. Pours dark caramel with a large, frothy head. Aroma is sticky toffee pudding, raisin, barley wine-esque. Taste has a little caramel to start. Strong piney bitter finish.

Good beer. Nice bitterness, mixed with a good malt depth. Simply too hoppy for my palate... I just donít like hops! :(

22oz bottle. Hazy reddish color, thin fading tan head, some lacing. Very dry texture. Bitter hops taste, but the malty, cherry, mildly alcoholic aroma is dominant. Strong aftertaste, some sweet after the finish. Delicious and interesting, but kind of painful for 7.2% ABV. When I rated the Oaked version a long time ago, I seemed to love it, however. I may need to revisit that and see if itís stood the test of time... I realize that these Arrogant Bastards taste 3x better with a meal though. That could have added .2 or so, Iíd imagine

On tap at petrol station. Pours a clear deep amber with a yellowish brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces slightly. Aroma is full of resinous pine and a bit of backing grapefruit. Flavor is simIlar with lots of resinous pine and grapefruit backed by cookies. Nice and smooth.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2013 Bomber - pours amber with beige head and nice lacing. Nose is grapefruit. Flavor adds lemon peel and caramel. Bitter and slightly sweet. Grapefruit aftertaste. Long bitter finish. Medium body. A weak DIPA that sits in the back of room whilst brooding. ///////////// Draft in a Trappist glass -pours opaque brown with light tan head. Strong hop aroma with hints of plum. Taste is bitter and provides a long finish. Aftertaste is even hoppier than at first sip. Lots of character but the reason I donít like it is quite simple: the hoppiness, though I appreciate the beer as a whole. 7/4/6/3/12 or 3.2. On 8/19/2011

65cl, American brew, from Geers Oostakker, complex brew, bitter/fruity and slightly malty/roasted, not too heavy, balanced, clear, small head, good brew, yet expensive

Bomber from Peppinos in Grand Rapids. They had to dig it out from the back and the bottle date was 9 months old, so this should be "aged Arrogant". Pours very brown with a yellowish tinge. Very low carbonation. Aroma is overripe fruit and caramel. Taste is thick syrupy fruit and a cacophony of hop layers. Alcohol quite present. Finishes strong and kicking. My memory of this beer is that it is quite rough, but smoother and tastier than this one was, so I will be curious to find another to see.
