This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

very rough flavor going down, not my type of beer, but it has a very high alcohol content. Great beer bottle and name that is the only reason that i bought this beer. Not that bad for the price.

This beer is pretty good. A good choice when you want a rough one. A good color as far as beer goes. Not a bad taste either.

Dark brown and cloudy with a small thin but long lasting head and light carb. Caramel and pine aromas. Medium bodied with slight malt upfront and a long strong hop dryness in the finish.

On tap...Quite hoppy, as most "strong" ales are. Very strong and malty...the 7.2% alcohol will really sneak up on you, if you’re not careful.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2006 22. A beautiful looking beer. Toffee, choc and fruit. Hoppy to the end. like other stones it hides its strength. will try again under better circumstances to re-rate with more detail as tonight i was not worthy.

Bomber. Poured with small tan head, nice dark color and plenty of chill haze like a homebrew.Nice hop to malt balance, not as "thick’ as it looks. Head gone in seconds but laced nicely. The hops end up dominating the palate when all is said + done. Worth the $4.50 at the CandleWick in Buckingham, Pa

Opens with a great pour - nice color and an incredible aroma that begs to be consumed. Flavor is what I expected from the bottle and very different from the aroma - very sharp, bitter and aggresively hoppy. Not for the inexperienced palate, but worth at least one bottle to experience the taste.

Lots o hops! Pours a nice amber with a medium head. Very bitter at first but goes down pretty smooth. The beer is arrogant.

The label said that I probably wouldn’t like this beer, and it was right. Very hoppy and bitter, but it isn’t as overbearing as some APAs.

Dark color with a medium sized light brown head. A bit sweet with heavy hops flavor. I am not usually one for very hoppy beers so I can’t relate to others of similar style, but it seems to be a very good beer.
