Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Nice copper color with a modest light tan head that clings to the side of the glass as you partake. Orange citrus aroma with a hint of malt. Sharp, somewhat citric, with a touch floral hops bite starts and carries throughout the quaff. After that the malt comes to play and play it does. Smooth caramel, toffee, mocha, and a bit doughy - just outstanding. So few brewers understand the true importance of quality malts and hops. Slightly warming towards the finish. This is one of the few "heavyweight" brews that could be my everyday choice. Unfortunately, I have to send away to get this one on my porch step. Thanks Mr. AB for producing this quality quaff.

Very good beer...hoppy, but tolerable. Very flavourful and malty.

Just had one of these on tap and let me say man was it good. Stone knows how to brew beer and this is just another perfect example of that

This beautiful red-amber beer was served with a nice head that failed to ever fully subside. It left a nice lace on the glass as well. The aroma was very potent, with hops florals, citrus, and pine notes. The first taste startled me not because of the hops, but because of the excellent balance of maltiness and bitterness. Strong caramel notes were followed by an intense hop presence that left a lingering mitterness on the aftertaste. Every taste followed the same malt - citrus - bitterness trend, from beginning to end of the glass. The mouthfeel was very full, but yet somewhat refreshing with the heavy hop finish.

Loved this beer! ’Strong’ is the best word to describe this beer, and I don’t mean as in alcohol. Strong, complex, and sweet malt flavor combined with a powerful hoppiness that surprisingly balances out this beer.

Deep red pour, with a big beige head that laces all the way to the end. Aroma fills the room with citrus and hops, much like the IPA and Ruination do, but a little stronger. Light caramel is present initally, followed by a hops onslaught that never seems to let up. Truly a fantastic brew.
