clear copper with a great tan head that settles into a thin film. nice lacing. juicy grapefruit hops with a hint of caramel malt sweetness. bitter juicy grapefruit hop flavor with a nice bittersweet caramel backbone. the keyword here is bitter. bittersweet juicy grapefruit caramel flavor. very nice medium full lively mouth feel. simple straightforward but very nice. very solid fantastic beer.

This deep auburn colored ale lures you in much like that athletic tomboy girl next door clad in her hoodie. And the stripped down head reminds you of how you’d like to get her.

She baits you with her sweet-as-breath flavor and then hooks you with a light bitterness, like a good wry Scottish wit leaves you slaked.

Sep 5, 2008 Aroma is mostly citrus hops. Mahogony color with a small but lasting white head. Taste is caramel and citrus hops, smooth bitter finish. Soft mouthfeel that is very smooth. After taste is great; long and bread-like.

Sep 5, 2008 [Bottle] Pours a beautiful clear ruby/caramelly brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is citric hops, caramel, raisins and some grass. Flavor is quite raisin-y with a significant residual hop bitterness. Really a nice beer.

Sep 4, 2008 Kind of looks brown,. clear, and boring in the glass. But the citrusy aroma and flavor packs quite a punch. What I really like is the thick creamy feeling as it sets in your mouth. Good brew.
