Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Bottled: Crazy beer that you have to appreciate. Pours a redish color with a white head. Smells of hops and pine. Leaves blasts of malts, pine, caramel, and hops. A very interesting beer!

Caramel malty aromas. Brownish amber colors. Roasted brown malt with a bitter finish. Hops are evident. Good rich palate - strong malt profile. Hoppy but plenty of sweetness and hearty reddish malt. Good.

Poured from a 22 oz. bomber. Dark amber brownish body with light brown / off white frothy head with excellent lacing. Interesting aroma - Citrus, earthy, caramel, toast....overall gentle on the nose...but what a surprise thereafter! Taste is predominant bitter and woody, some spice. Bitter is not in a pale ale or IPA sort of way, and much more aggressive than smooth. Palate is moderatley thick and syrupy residue that lingers a good while. Depth and complexity that leaves you guessing and wanting more...and I will definitely need more in order to put my finger on it.

This brew has earned the right to be arrogant. It’s the whole package. Pours a dark auburn with a huge resilient sticky beige head that leaves a graceful trail of thick lacing. Fantastic citrusy nose brings to mind spiced orange and evergreen. Nice full mouthfeel. Flavor is malty with the hops mixing in well, just a slight bit of sweetness, and a long earthy bitter finish.

A beautiful-looking beer--pours a nice reddish brown color with a creamy moderate head with excellent retention and lacing. Aroma is moderate with piney hops and citrus notes. Flavor is both stronger and more complex. Lots of strong bitter hops, but with some more subtle notes of caramel malt. Dry finish with some lasting hop bitterness. Yet surprisingly smooth for a beer with such a bitter hop bite. Very, very nice.

This beers catch line " You’re Not Worthy," is quite fitting for any casual beer drinker, as it is an aggressively flavored ale. The pour is a decently rich amber, with a fair head. Whilst it has a nose highly hopped with pine resin and grapefruit, and other citrus tones, it is also more delicately accented with malty caramel pitches. An inexperienced beer peon may easily mistake this as an IPA, however it has enough balance and character to qualify as a strong ale. Its flavor has a different depth and character, which is as quoted, "hated by many loved by few." Quite simply if you don’t love this ale, you simply are not worthy!!!
